Gas logs are a convenient and maintenance-free way to heat your home, providing twice the heat of a traditional wood-burning fireplace. They also reduce the risk of fire and come in a variety of easy-to-install styles.

At Crab Creek Country Store we carry both vented and vent-free gas logs for you to choose from.

Vented logs provide a realistic flame and operate with an open chimney flue or damper. These logs are very decorative but less efficient than vent-free logs because much of the heat that is generated goes up the chimney.

Vent-free logs operate with the chimney flue closed and are a very efficient way to heat your home because 100% of the heat generated stays in your home. Most sets include a thermostat control to help maintain a consistent room temperature, however they cannot be installed in bedrooms, bathrooms or recreational vehicles and should not be installed within 36 inches of curtains, furniture, clothing, or other flammable objects.
